Buffering Possible ? Options · View

Hi,

I have downloaded the AspNet Video component and tried to implement in asp.net 2.0 application.

I have installed my program on another machine which is on network and accessed the my web page having video component in another client machine. I have successfully played the video/ audio. But one thing I have observed is, the video/ audio file whatever I have accessed is copying into the local machine (client machine) in temporary folder. And I have not observed any buffering.

My requirement is to buffer the video/audio, but should not get copy into the client machine.

Is it possible to implement my requirement using AspNet video component? I have not seen any methods/ events regarding "buffering".

If this component meets our requirement, we shall go for license.

Could any one reply on this?

To do this - you must host your video using a streaming media hosting.

Some examples are:
